Support Mindfulness in Public Schools!
The Mindful Classroom
The Path is partnering with New Design High, a design-focused New York public high school, with a focus on social-emotional learning. Students, often from disadvantaged backgrounds, learn design, fashion and other tangible skills — and will now have access to classes on mindfulness and meditation.
This spring, The Path will begin training 3 teachers and administrators at the school to guide meditations — and help students with stress and anxiety. Your donations make this possible — thank you for your support!
We will be training:
Claire Butler, Director of Post-Secondary Planning.
Eric Miller, Social Worker, Restorative Justice Team.
Dilyon Stanislaus, Parent Coordinator.
If you donate:
We’ll update you twice during the course from these staffers with how the class is going and impacting them
Send a personal thank you from each of them
And invite you to a live session with them once they graduate (or film it if you’re not in NYC!)
And you will know that you are helping to spread peacefulness in public schools — to kids and families who will really benefit from the tools of mindfulness and meditation.
