Private Tea and Brunch with Matthieu Ricard

  • Steelcase 4 Columbus Circle, 7th Floor New York, NY, 10019 United States (map)

Join us for Sunday brunch with world-renowned author and speaker Matthieu Ricard to celebrate the launch of his new book, A Plea for Animals. Matthieu will speak on meditation and compassion in action: how we can expand our altruism to include all living beings. You will be treated to a delicious vegan brunch by acclaimed vegan chef Daphne Cheng. Matthieu will also lead us in a guided meditation and answer questions, and each guest will receive a copy of this important new book.

Proceeds from ticket sales will rebuild schools devastated by the earthquake in Nepal, with an emphasis on education for girls, through the programs of Karuna-Shechen.

We also have an extraordinary opportunity to enjoy a private tea  with Matthieu before doors open for the brunch. This is a chance for you to connect with Matthieu on a more personal level, to ask questions, and enjoy a short meditation with him before the brunch begins (limited to 15 people).
