In this course you’ll learn the benefits of each technique AND how to practice each type on your own. You’ll know immediately which technique resonates with you, so by the time you finish this course you’ll have the skills and inspiration to begin and maintain a meditation practice catered exactly to you.

 How it works

This course consists of 6 videos. Once you sign up, we’ll send you a video once a day with that day’s lesson. Often the lesson will include a guided meditation, which you can follow along with and enjoy — soon you’ll know how to do this meditation on your own, without a guide!

The videos are:

  • Intro to Meditation. Learn This is an introduction to me, your teacher, and the benefits of meditation (yay!).

  • Mindfulness. This video explains how and why people practice mindfulness, a meditation to help focus the mind and release stress (sigh). I’ll also guide you in a simple but profound mindfulness meditation (I do this myself every single day!).

  • Mantra. In this video I’ll explain why people do mantra meditation, a technique powerful at reducing stress and also promoting creativity. You’ll also enjoy a guided mantra meditation in this video!

  • Energizing. Here I’ll show you how an energizing meditation works and why it can really replace that second cup of coffee or green tea!

  • Goal-oriented meditation In this video I’ll explain how you can use meditation to help you become (even more) of the person you want to be. Usually in the meditation world people use this technique to promote compassion, so here I’ll guide you in a compassion meditation, which later you can do on your own (even in long lines and on buses and trains).

  • Gift. There’s also a gift video. This is a surprise!

  • The practice of meditation. Finally you’ll receive a video about how to begin and maintain a daily practice. Here I cover the basics like when to sit, how to sit, how long to sit and more. Let’s do this, time to become a meditator!

Dina Kaplan is Founder of the The Path, which teaches meditation for the modern mind. The Path has taught thousands of people to meditate around the world and at festivals including SXSW and Sundance.

Dina is a certified meditation teacher and leads meditations around the world at conferences, for large and small groups, brands, corporations and individuals in Japan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Iceland, across the U.S. and elsewhere in Asia and Europe. She has studied and practiced dozens of meditation techniques, including Vipassana, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Vedic (or “mantra”) meditation, loving-kindness or (“metta”) meditation and more.
