What do I wear?

You can wear anything you like to The Path, as long as you can sit comfortably. People come in suits, dresses, yoga pants and everything in between. One guy came in pajamas once. He looked comfortable (if a bit sleepy).

How long is the session?

A regular weekly practice of The Path is 45 minutes long with a 30-minute meditation and a 15-minute Q&A session with the teacher after. We sometimes do a shorter version but unless indicated otherwise, please mark off 45 minutes of happy calm on your calendar for the practice.

Can I leave right after?

We invite people to stay after the practice to meet other meditators and socialize, but this is not required. You can head out as soon as the practice is finished.

Is The Path a particular style of meditation or its own thing?

The Path teaches ancient meditation techniques in a modern way. Our teachers guide you through an energizing, mindfulness, mantra and/or intention-oriented meditation. Each of these techniques has a powerful, and different, effect on the mind. 

By introducing you to these various techniques, we are giving you the tools to create a custom meditation practice, designed just for you.

Can I volunteer?

Yes we are looking for help with two things: (1) People to volunteer to help produce our Tuesday evening meditations and (2) People to help amplify our social media reach. To learn more and offer to volunteer please click here or email sit@thepath.com.
